The European spring Council , to be held in Brussels on 22 and 23 March 2005, will focus on the actions to be taken by governments within the context of the various pillars of the Lisbon strategy.

At the June 2005 Summit, which will be held in Brussels on 16 and 17 June, the Luxembourg Presidency will seek to reach an agreement on the financial perspectives of the European Union for the period 2007-2013.
