Wednesday, 18 May 2005, Jean Asselborn, President of the Council of the European Union and the Luxembourg Minister for Foreign Affairs and Immigration will chair the Troika meeting between the European Union and the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) which will be held at the Château de Senningen.
The ECOWAS will be represented by Ms Aichatou Mindaoudou, the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and African Integration of the Republic of Niger, Mr Nana Akufo-Addo, Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Ghana and Dr Mohamed Ibn Chambas, the Executive Secretary of the ECOWAS.
The press conference is scheduled for 3 p.m. at the Château de Senningen.
Media representatives who want to cover this meeting are required to apply online for accreditation before 16 May 2005.
Media representatives should note that they can use the working room of the Château de Senningen until 6 p.m. on 18 May 2005.
