Visit to Luxembourg of Dr Kamal Kharrazi, Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran

Dr Kamal Kharrazi, Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, will come to Luxembourg for a visit, on Tuesday 15 February 2005. He will be accompanied by Hamid Reza Asefi, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs.

The head of Iranian diplomacy will be received by the Luxembourg Presidency. Discussions will focus on bilateral relations between the EU and Iran, as well as on the recent negociations in Geneva on Iran's nuclear programme.

Moreover, the Iranian Minister for Foreign Affairs will meet members of the Foreign and European Affairs Committee, the Defense Committee and the Cooperation and Immigration Committte of the Luxembourg Parliament.
