Event : Informal ECOFIN Meeting

The Informal ECOFIN Meeting will follow a meeting of the Eurogroup taking place on the Kiem CC on 13 May 2005. This meeting of the Ministers of Finance of the Euro zone will be lead by the President of the Eurogroup, Jean-Claude Juncker. The President of the Eurogroup and the European Commission will hold a press conference at the Kiem CC on 13 May at 5.30 p.m.

The Informal Meeting of Ministers for Economic and Financial Affairs will take place in Luxembourg on 14 May 2005. Jean-Claude Juncker, the Luxembourg Minister of Finance, will chair the meeting.

The press conference of the Presidency will be held at the Kiem CC at 5.30 p.m. on 14 May, in the presence of the European Commission and the President of the European Central Bank.

Media representatives who wish to cover the Eurogroup and/or the «Ecofin» meeting have to request an online accreditation until 11 May 2005. The accreditation for the «Ecofin» meeting will also give access to the meeting of the Eurogroup.
