Troika and Informal Meeting of Ministers for Labour and Employment (accreditation, press conferences)

Thursday 7 April 2005, a troika will take place at the Centre de Conférence Kiem (CCKiem) in Luxembourg. The troika will be conducted by François Biltgen, the Luxembourg Minister for Labour and Employment in the presence of the Commissioner for Employment, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities, Vladimir Špidla, the Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Labour of Austria, Martin Bartenstein, the secretary of State for Work and Pension of the United Kingdom, Alan Johnson and the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Employment relations, Competition and Consumers of the United Kingdom, Gerry Sutcliffe. Representatives of the Union des industries de la Communauté européenne (UNICE) and the Confédération européenne des syndicats (CES) will also be present.

A press conference will be held at 6 pm at the CCKiem.

The troika will be followed on 8 April 2005 by an Informal Meeting of Ministers for Labour and Employment.

The Presidency will give a press conference at the CCKiem at 5 pm.

Media representatives are required to apply online for accreditation.

Accreditation badges can be collected at the CCKiem.

The accreditation desk will be open:

Thursday 7 April 2005: from 2 pm to 5.30 pm
Friday 8 April 2005: from 7.30 am to 4.30 pm

Please note that the accreditations already asked for Thursday 7 April 2005 are also valid for Friday 8 April 2005!
