Monday 28 February 2005, Jean Asselborn, the Luxembourg Minister for Foreign Affairs and Immigration and current President of the Council of the European Union, will meet Sergueï Lavrov, Russia's Minister for Foreign Affairs, in the presence of Javier Solana, High Representative of the European Union for the Common Foreign and Security Policy and Benita Ferrero-Waldner, Commissioner for external Relations and European Neighborhood Policy in the framework of a ministerial troika. The ministerial meeting will take place at the Château de Senningen.

A press conference is scheduled for 3 pm at the Château de Senningen.
