The seventh ministerial Euro-Mediterranean (Euromed) meeting will be held on 30 and 31 May 2005 in Luxembourg. It will be dedicated to the evaluation of the Euro-Mediterranean partnership, in preparation of the 10th anniversary of the Barcelona declaration in November 2005. The discussions should allow for a definition of the bases for the future and permit for a re-launch of the partnership.
On 30 May, the EU will hold an exchange of views with the Arab Group as well as with Israel, on the situation in the Middle East, and in particular the Peace Process.
