Event : Meetings of the Eurogroup and the enlarged Eurogroup

The Prime Minister and Finance Minister, Jean-Claude Juncker, in his role as President of the Eurogroup, has convened an extraordinary meeting of the Eurogroup and the enlarged Eurogroup to be held in Brussels on Sunday, 20 March 2005.

At these two meetings, the Finance Ministers of the 12 eurozone countries, followed by the 25 Finance Ministers of the EU Member States, will attempt once again to reach a political agreement on reform of the Stability and Growth Pact prior to the meeting of the European Council of Heads of State and Government on 22 and 23 March 2005.
