VII Ministerial Euro-Mediterranean Conference (accreditation, press conferences)

Jean Asselborn, the Luxembourg Minister for Foreign Affairs and Immigration and current President of the Council of the European Union will chair the VII Ministerial Euro-Mediterranean Conference that will take place at the Kiem Conference Centre (CCKiem) in Luxembourg on 30 and 31 May 2005.

The VII Ministerial Euro-Mediterranean Conference will bring together the Ministers for Foreign Affairs of the European Union and of the candidate states, the High Representative of the European Union, the European Commission and the Mediterranean Partners.

On 30 May 2005 a Troika meeting between the European Union and the Arab Group and a Troika meeting between the European Union and Israel will take place in the framework of the Ministerial Euro-Mediterranean Conference.

A press conference will be given at 4.40 pm at the CCKiem.

A ministerial plenary session will be held on 31 May 2005. Media representatives are invited to a press conference at 1 pm at the CCKiem.

Media representatives who want to cover this meeting are required to apply online for accreditation before 28 May 2005.
