Friday 15 April 2005 will be held the Justice and Home Affairs Ministerial Meeting between the European Union and the Federation of Russia (Troika) in the framework of the Luxembourg Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
The Troika will be chaired by the Luxembourg Minister for Justice, Luc Frieden, and the Luxembourg Minister Delegate for Foreign Affairs and Immigration, Nicolas Schmit, in the presence of the Russian Minister for the Interior Rachid Nourgaliev, the Russian Minister for Justice, Yuri Tchaika, and the Vice-President of the Commission in charge of justice, freedom and security, Franco Frattini.
The Troika meeting will be followed by a press conference at 12.30 am at the Hotel Mercure in Canach (Luxembourg).
Media representatives who want to cover this meeting have to request an accreditation online.
As the Ministers for Foreign Affairs will meet on 15 and 16 April in Luxembourg, under the presidency of Jean Asselborn, the Luxembourg Minister for Foreign Affairs and Immigration and current President of the Council of the European Union, the press centre at the Kiem Conference Centre will be open at the following hours :
Friday, 15 April 2005 : 9.30 am – 9 pm
Saturday, 16 April 2005 : 7.30 am – 6 pm
The Luxembourg Presidency has organized a bus shuttle service on Friday 15 April 2005 which will leave at 11.45 am at the Kiem Conference Centre (« media » entrance) for Canach. It will come back to the Kiem Conference Centre after the press conference.
